Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Invozen (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Invozen is a cloud-based GST invoice processing platform that extracts structured data from invoices using OCR and AI, stores records, and helps generate GST compliance reports. The Service is intended for use by Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, bookkeepers, and businesses registered or operating under India's GST regime.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@invozen.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account may be used by one individual. Team access is managed through the firm and staff features within the product.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload invoices or data you are not authorised to process
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable Indian law, including the GST Act, IT Act, or DPDP Act
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in bulk via automated means
  • Resell or white-label the Service without written permission
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or content designed to disrupt the Service

4. Your Data

You retain full ownership of the invoice data and documents you upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you upload and the GST returns generated from it. Invozen assists in data extraction and report preparation - final review and filing responsibility remains with you.

5. GST Compliance Disclaimer

Invozen uses OCR and AI to extract data from invoices. Extraction is highly accurate but not infallible. You must review all extracted data before filing any GST return. We are not responsible for penalties, interest, or losses arising from errors in extracted data that were not corrected before filing.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Downgrading or cancelling your plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

7. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, access to paid features requires a subscription. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free trial terms at any time.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. We will give reasonable notice before termination except in cases of serious breach or legal requirement. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days before it is permanently deleted.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be notified in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service interruptions.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks, and content of the Invozen platform are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the right to use the Service as described.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
